Health is one aspect of life which demands constant attention. Due to rapidly changing lifestyles, health problems have increased and kidney disease is certainly one of them. Kidney diseases are severe which if not treated on time, may lead to fatal consequences.
Few common kidney disease causes include high BP, diabetes, arteries hardening, diabetes. The hardening of arteries may damage the blood vessels. A kidney disease which is caused due to the kidney inflammation is known as nephritis. It may due to the autoimmune reaction or an infection, where the immune system or the defense of the body damages kidneys.
The polycystic kidney syndrome is caused due to the abnormal shape of the kidneys which is even called the anatomic disorder. Some kidney disorders interfere with the metabolic disorders of the body. Most kidney disorders are rare as mostly they are inherited from parents.
Some toxic medications can cause kidney failure which may harm the kidney tissues and create blockages in the system to drain the kidney and lead to cause the prostate problems.
Symptoms of kidney disease:
Signs of kidney diseases will vary from the earlier diseases the person has. If a person develops high fever then bacterial infection may be the cause. Some other kidney disease signs may include passing a little blood, urine or abnormal chemical levels in the blood. Nephrogenic diabetes insipidus is a condition in which the kidneys cannot remove extra water from urine for making it concentrated.
Some moderate kidney diseases may not have specific symptoms. Though, in uremia or ERSD, toxins can accumulate in the person’s blood.Some signs are:
- Edema- puffy feet, hands, eyes
- High blood pressure
- Appetite loss
- Breath shortness
- Vomiting or nausea
- Weight loss
- Bad breath or bad mouth taste
- Muscle cramping or twitching
- Itchy skin
- Tea colored urine
- Brownish yellow tint on the skin
Kidney diseases are not painful usually but in a few cases it may aggravate.
